Headland United Methodist Church

The Headland United Methodist Church website with the same style as the original but updated complete to a CMS based site.

Situation

In Apr 2010, Chad Hughes representing the Headland United Methodist Church contacted us about taking over the hosting of the churches website.  The church was pleased with the look of the site but the service as well as support was not what they were needing.

Challenge

As the church liked the look, the problem was designing a website template to match that site.  Although a few graphics from the old site were usable, most graphics would have to be created.  In addition, none of the data could be transferred in SQL format so we would have to rebuild each page individually for content.

Solution

We immediately transferred the domain name to our control and setup the website with the new template that we designed to match up closely with their original design, although we did make a few changes.  We manually created all pages from the old site, added a calendar component, a prayer request component, created archives of streaming audio for past sermons and added a gallery.

Results

Headland United Methodist Church has the website look that they wanted but with the service and support that they needed. Webbering continues to maintain the site in a timely manner with updated content as supplied by Headland United Methodist Church.
