The is the original website developed for CHARM - City of Headland Animal Rescue Mission.
Situation
Jim Geisler of JimCo Inc. asked if we would provide a website for their new organization, C.H.A.R.M. - City of Headland Animal Rescus Mission, in order to promote their activities of saving as well as spaying/neutering pets. We jumped on board as this is something that has been long overdue in our community.
Challenge
In reality, the major problem was the lack of any initial content as this was a brand new organization that was just getting on it's feet. Also, they needed guidance on what information needed to provided on their website for their members.
Solution
We checked and registered their domain name, CHARMHeadland.org which match their identity. We setup the website and selected a template from SiteGround.com which is a wonderful resource for non-profits as they provide many of their templates free under GNU/GPL license. As the organization had no logo, we created several logo styles, provided them to the organization, they picked one that they liked, requested changes and we modified the logo to match their requests. Using the logo as inspiration and color style, we modified the template to arrive at the final design. This is the usual procedure that we follow in assisting non-profits in getting their

ed. We included a rotating newsflash module, image slideshows, a Facebook Fanbox module and worked with Jim in showing him how to add/edit/delete content. When he hits a snag, he knows all he has to do is to contact us and we'll fix it.
Results
C.H.A.R.M. has a website that gives them the capability to promote their activities onilne and to keep their members informed. It has been a rewarding experience.
