This was the final design that Rhonda selected with a look that matched the interior of Wiregrass International.
This is the original website that we completed in March 2004.
Situation
Wiregrass International approached us to do a web site for their expanding business. They were expanding to include a new automotive service and tire center to their current agricultural equipment business.
Challenge
As this was their first website, we would have to assist in getting the extensive list of products and equipment that they had for sale with very little content or images available.
Solution
We created an extensive site with links to all the major brands that they carry, links to all departments, a used equipment section with a database of available used equipment for sale including pictures, a history of the business and contact information. Due to the extensive list of products, we created a rotating display on the home page that highlights each department and the products they carry. In addition, they can add used equipment that they have available for sale with extensive information on each piece as well as a multiple picture display page.
Update
In February 2010, we did a complete redesign of the website moving to the Joomla
CMS to provide management with a complete backend administration capability as well as to incorporate new features into the site. We included a frontpage slideshow with custom/enhanced images of the products that they have with thumbnails that we created. We enhanced the navigation abilities with suckerfish dropdowns. For each section of products and services, we created custom graphics as well as improved the content descriptions. The header image graphic has a background view of the business that is a composite that we created from 4 photographs to show the business completely in a narrow height.
Result
Wiregrass International has a dynamic and attractive website that meets their needs in displaying their products and services that they provide in a style that they wanted.
