Situation

Wiregrass Couriers is a company that provides letter, package and document delivery services throughout the Tri-State area including Montgomery, Birmingham and Andalusia in Alabama, Donaldsonville and Bainbridge in Georgia and Panama City in Florida. They needed a

web site

to promote their services.

Challenge

Like most first time clients, we were starting with a blank slate with no content, no images and only a small outline of what they wanted on their website.

Solution

We worked with them to outline the

web site design

, color schemes and navigation requirements. Webbering trained the staff in how to make the changes but Webbering setup most of the original content from source information supplied to us.

Update

In February 2012, we brought a fresh look to the website as we migrated the site to the newest Joomla version which gave us additional administrative capability as well expanded features for the site. In addition, we added a new 'Request Pickup' form page and worked with their messaging service so that any request is automatically handled by the messaging service system to automatically route to courier personnel.

In June 2008, we did a complete redesign of the website to provide management with a complete backend administration capability as well as to incorporate new features into the site. These included the ability for their clients to login to their account to order pickups, view tracking and update their account. To reflect the growing nature of the company, the header includes rotating images of the major cities that they serve as well as a scroller in the left sidebar to display the range of services that they provide.

Result

Wiregrass Courier LLC has a site that promotes their business for potential customers as well as providing an online gateway for current customers. Content is constantly being updated so customers can stay up to date with what is going on at the Wiregrass Courier LLC.
